WiFi password and SSID#707

Please create an option to change the default password and the SSID that comes printed in the camera.

Hello, interesting idea, for some clarity can you explain why this is something you’d like to do?

Keep people from connecting to camera and stopping recordings.

Why has this not been implemented? We don’t really need a Unique WiFi name, but we DO need a unique WiFi password for the camera. I’ve had 3 different times now where someone connected to my camera while I was recording and the game was going great and some jerk parent stopped it. They connected to my camera and stopped the recording. Make it so we can set the password, and then if we forget the password we simply hard reset the camera. Just like pretty much every other WiFi device on the planet.

Provicial Lacrosse championship game and the team from a different organization on the field before us that had their camera setup, shut mine off 19 seconds into warmup and labelled it as their match not knowing. The team pays for this service and they are now without the final championship game of the year! Unexceptable! How does this happen? I expect way better security for how much we pay for it.
