Allow mute feature. Video without sound#84

Is there a way to mute the video so there is no sound?

Ability to mute the audio would be extremely valuable and/or download without audio

This could be solved in the software, just muting the recording totally unntil better options are developed.

Do not complicate this Veo, make it possible trough the sw to mute the recording, or on group level apply it as a policy option, mute all.

Such an important capability. No one wants to hear the families/supporters and they shouldn’t hear the coach/players. Such a fundamental feature that should be added asap.

Not to mention potential legal implications that teams may face by recording others conversations .

yeah this is something that definitely needs to be handled and should be easily. The sound adds atmosphere I get that, but people don’t want to feel like there’s a microphone eavesdropping. It’s as simple as allowing the edit to just deal with it. Fortunatley most of our games have had enough wind to make the sound inaudible but that also shows the need for dealing with it too. The wind noise means that if you’ve got sound on it’s a horrendous experience for the viewer too.

Please add this feature. If it helps with ways to solve this, Pixellot has this option to select “upload without sound” before the video file is uploaded to be processed. Understand this would be more work needed since Veo videos are automatically uploaded. But this is a huge benefit to many and would enhance this product even more. Thanks for considering

what might actuallly be easier to implement (and possibly more flexible and useful) would be a feature to delete specific segments of audio or video. then you could snip that one unfortunate comment picked up on a hot mic while leaving the overall audio in tact.
