Club Name and Club Initials on the Score Board discrepancy.#669

Club Name and Club Initials on the Score Board discrepancy; Is there a way to fix this issue so that the Club Name can have a Club Nickname that can be used on the video scoreboard?

Hi! I am a member of the BRYC Elite Academy as known on the Veo Club Name account.
BRYC stands for Braddock Road Youth Club.

Is there any way in the scoreboard settings can be fixed so that the scoreboard on the video show. BRY or BRYC and not “BEA”? Attached below is the discrepancy I am seeing on the Veo web site when viewing a recorded video.

I hope you can resolve this quickly in the video settings or maybe change the Club Name to Braddock Road Youth Club Elite Academy, which is way too long (IMHO). I hope you have solution to this question.

Hey Angelo - from the screenshot, it looks like SKY is the owner of the match video, so they put in the opponent name (manually). If that is the case, you can ask them to edit the match details to show an abbreviated name you prefer. If no name is entered, for example, it would simply say OPP by default (for ‘Opponent).

The question remains – Where is your system picking up BEA?

Can you tell where the scoreboard is getting BEA??

I am guessing video scoreboard may be using the Club Name as BEA, maybe?

Is there a way to correct this? I spoke tp BRYC Elite Academy Veo Admin. From Veo Admin interface the BRYC Elite Academy name can not be changed or edited from that admin_ user_name.

If the video scoreboard pulls the info from the Title Field, shouldn’t the scoreboard say

 SKY  vs  BRY

and NOT

 SKY vs  BEA

And BRYC really wants to use BRY or BRYC in the video scoreboard.

Can you please help in determining – Where is your system picking up BEA?

Your company Veo and even the Veo web site has the worst way of communicating how to to open support tickets. I thought this is what this ticketing system is already.

In this case, the vide scordeboard is using BEA;
Is the scoreboard getting this from the Club Name BRYC Elite Academy INITIALS?

Or, should the scoreboad be using the Video Game Title
“Skyline Elite 05G vs BRYC ECNL 05G”

Which should be SKY vs BRY;
But that’s what’s NOT seen on the video scoreboard.
